Face Nourish Review

A lovely review of our Face Nourish and Body Salve by My Beauty Bunny!

“I massaged a few (3-5) drops on my face after cleansing at night and noticed a significant difference in a few days. My face was noticeably softer and less oily (hurray! summer skin secret weapon!). My favorite thing about the Face Nourish? My skin absorbed it in less than a minute. So my pillow didn’t get all oily and there was no oily residue left on my fingers or face.”

Dead Sea Salt

From soothing and detoxifying the skin, to re-mineralizing the body, relaxing sore muscles, and even relieving symptoms of psoriasis and arthritis, Dead Sea Salt is one of the most beneficial ingredients that nature offers.

At Truth Art Beauty, we use only pure, raw Dead Sea Salt, in its unrefined form. We don’t refine our salts because the process can deplete the salt of its minerals. Our salts are harvested from the Southern end of the Dead Sea and contain over 21 minerals including magnesium, calcium, bromide and sulphates.

Why are these minerals important? Magnesium, for example, is the second most abundant element in human cells and helps regulate over 325 enzymes. It is known to eliminate toxins and help regulate a number of bodily functions like muscle control and energy production. Apparently, most Americans are deficient in magnesium, due to changes in diet over the last century. Bath soaks are one of the best ways to get a mineral boost because magnesium and sulfate are easily absorbed through the skin, but not the stomach.

Not to mention that an end of the day soak or scrub is a wonderful way to unwind and relax!  You can find Dead Sea Salt in our Body Buff and our Bath Salts.  Happy Blending…xoxo

St Patrick’s Day

With St. Patrick’s Day coming up this weekend, we thought we’d share one of our favorite green cocktail recipes – the La Poire.

  • 1 part lemon juice
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 small, ripe pear (peeled, cored and cut into 1/4 inch cubes)
