Custom Face Nourish
"I’m a huge fan of face oils so I love the idea of creating my own! My favorite blend is the Argan base with the Firming and Tightening Boost and the Redness Boost. Because I have oily skin, I love that it doesn’t clog my pores. My skin feels super healthy and smooth. I use a few drops both morning and night. This is becoming one of my favorite face products!"

$54 / 1 oz
Ingredients: vitamin e, organic argan oil, organic pomegranate seed oil, organic rosehip seed oil, organic rose geranium essential oil
Social media maven by day and blogger by night, Grace Atwood is the creative genius behind Stripes and Sequins, our favorite fashion DIY blog. From Celine inspired cuffs to Lucite clutches, Grace translates the latest must-have runway trends into affordable, DIY projects. We were lucky enough to sit down with Grace recently to chat about her inspiration, favorite things, and, of course, upcoming projects!
What inspired you to start stripes + sequins?
I started stripes + sequins because I needed a creative outlet from my ultra-corporate job. I never expected anyone to actually read it!
Must-have craft tools for newbie DIYers?
Needle nose pliers, jump rings, chain, and maybe a little neon spray paint. If you're feeling gutsy, buy a drill - you'll be surprised how much you will use it! Before you know it, you'll be making your own jewelry from things you find around your house and at the hardware store!
Three things you can't live without?
Mascara (Benefit They're Real is my favorite), Chapstick, my boyfriend. (Not in that order).
Your perfect Sunday afternoon?
Grabbing brunch with friends, strolling home through the West Village with an iced coffee, working on a killer DIY project, finishing up enough on my to-do list to be able to spend the evening snuggled up on the couch with my boyfriend, a big cup of Yogi tea, and a movie (or Game of Thrones - so happy that it's back!)
Most treasured possession?
My Cartier Love Bracelet - it was a gift from my boyfriend. Everytime I look at it, I think of him. And I love that it never comes off.
Favorite shopping destinations?
There are so many... too many! I load up on basics at J.Crew, trends at Zara, and Saks or Nordstrom for the investment pieces. I love Pippin Vintage Jewelry in Chelsea for one of a kind vintage pieces. The rest of my jewelry (that I don't make) comes from BaubleBar.com (my day job), which has an incredible assortment of fashion jewelry.
Cook or eat out?
Eat out. There are just too many great places in New York to explore!
Next DIY project brewing?
If I told you, I'd have to kill you. Kidding. It's something bright, that involves rope!
