Floral Citrus Body Salve

"I'm a huge fan of this Body Salve!  I try to use healthy and natural ingredients - whether it's in food or in skincare - so I really love that this Salve is all natural, without toxins and preservatives. Because it's an oil, it's also much more moisturizing than a regular lotion. Lavender is one of my favorite scents and really helps me relax, so I like to use this right before I go to bed."

Food writer, cookbook author, TV personality, former model...the list goes on and on. Candice Kumai, otherwise known as the StilettoChef, is known for her healthy - and cost saving - recipes. Candice's goal is to promote health and wellness by encouraging us to get back to the basics with simple, fresh, natural foods (you can see why we like her!). And she's a living example of how healthy eating is not only good for your body - it's also great for your figure.

We're huge fans of your book Pretty Delicious. What inspired you to write it?
Great question! My life, my Mom, my friends, my passion and love for what I do.

We can't wait for your next book to come out. Can you tell us what it will be focused on?
New book, so amazing...a bit sexier, more raw, real and DIY Brooklyn Chic. Think Brooklyn meets
San Diego. Clean, calm, inspiring.

Favorite healthy recipe?
Anything that entails sardines and avocados…and of course anything with dark chocolate.

What's in your fridge now?
Coconut water, ricotta, cauliflower, soybean paste, and champagne...I have a thing for champagne.

Favorite places to travel and shop?
Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Ecuador, Italy, France, London.  London has the best shopping, next to Japan (nothing fits me in Japan because I'm 5'8").  I always visit Fortnum & Mason and Cath Kidston.  And I love UK food magazines, I purchase stacks when visiting my Sis.

Best farmers market?
Union Square in New York and Point Loma or Carlsbad in California.

Hostess tips?
Be kind, be gracious, be fun. Don't be cheap, never run out of food or drink. Send everyone away with some goodies.
