CUSTOMER TESTIMONIALS
One of our favorite things is receiving emails from customers who have had positive experiences with our products. We recently received an email from Helen T. from Idaho, who shared with us her experience with our Face Nourish. Here is an excerpt:
I am writing to you to let you know how pleased and amazed I am with my custom skincare blend. I’m 58 years old and have been treated for precancers on my face for about 20 years due to years of too much sun tanning. During the treatment process, I was left with huge, black, blue and red scabs wherever the precancers cells existed.
During the two week period that the scabs were forming and beginning to dry up, my face was so sensitive I couldn’t even stand having hair touch my face. I have been using organic Argan oil for the past three years but when I read an article about you product and the information on your website it got my attention (especially the part about the amount of water in most products). That is when I ordered my custom blend.
As soon as it arrived I was struck by the care that went into the packaging and the handwritten note (and coupon!). It was lovely. I immediately began applying the blend to my face three times a day. I can tell you that three weeks have now gone by and my skin looks BETTER than it has in years. The redness from the scabs has almost completely gone away and I know that with continued use I will have the skin I always wished for. I am now on a mission to continue using your product and spread the word.
In closing, thanks again for your wonderful product and best wishes for continued success.
Thank you Helen for your kind words! We’re so thrilled to be able to help our customers attain healthy, moisturized, glowing skin. If you have had a positive experience with our product and would like to be featured on our blog, please email sara@truthartbeauty.com.

A lovely review of our Face Nourish and Body Salve by My Beauty Bunny!
“I massaged a few (3-5) drops on my face after cleansing at night and noticed a significant difference in a few days. My face was noticeably softer and less oily (hurray! summer skin secret weapon!). My favorite thing about the Face Nourish? My skin absorbed it in less than a minute. So my pillow didn’t get all oily and there was no oily residue left on my fingers or face.”

Since the word “antioxidant” is thrown around all the time, we thought it would be a good idea to take the time to explain what the term really means!
An antioxidant is a molecule capable of inhibiting the oxidation of other molecules in the body which ultimately leads to the protection and repair of cells. Antioxidants are arguably one of the most important active ingredients in your skincare. Read more »
With all the food, family and travel, that comes with the holidays, it’s important to give your skin some TLC during this busy week. Having hosted numerous holiday meals at her family home over the years, Tina Kapadia has become as close to a holiday entertaining expert as we’ve ever met. We caught up with her this week on how she’ll be adapting her natural skincare routine leading up to Thanksgiving.
We know that some of you with acne prone skin are hesitant to you use face oils. But face oils are great for oily/acne prone skin in a number of ways:
Balancing: One of the causes of acne is when your skin produces too much oil. Many people with oily skin tend think they should use oil free moisturizers or harsh products that will strip their skin dry. The problem is that this actually can cause your skin to overcompensate by producing even more oil. Nutritious face oils like Argan for example, are filled with squalene and fatty acids that are similar to the compounds in your skin’s sebum. Therefore when you put Argan on your skin, it actually has an inhibitory effect on sebum production and helps regulate sebum production and re-balance your skin to a healthy state. Read more »
As you are probably aware, here at Truth Art Beauty, we are huge fans of oils. Both our Face Nourish and Body Salve are oil-based. The great thing about oils is that they are a way of delivering active botanical ingredients without any of the harsh chemical preservatives that are required in water-based products.
With Halloween fast approaching and Thanksgiving a few months away, we thought it was the perfect time to feature one of our favorite fall ingredients – Pumpkin!
Pumpkin Seed oil is an all-around wonderful skin care ingredient for all types of skin. It nourishes with a variety of vitamins and minerals including vitamins A, C, E and zinc. Pumpkin is especially great for dry and mature skin because of its high essential fatty acid content. It’s also a natural source of salicylic acid (how cool is that?), which helps exfoliate the skin.
We’ll be featuring several Pumpkin-based blends as part of our Fall inspired seasonal blends, so stay tuned! In the meantime, you can always add Pumpkin into your Face Nourish through our Texture Refining and Firming Boost.
