Lavender Orange Body Buff
“Now that Spring is here and I’m starting to wear skirts again, I’ve been in need of some major exfoliation. For my Body Scrub blend, I chose a sugar base with macadamia nut oil (which I love) and lavender and orange essential oils, for a fresh scent. I’ve been using it once a week and my skin is softer and smoother. I’m totally in love!”

$32 / 8 oz
Ingredients: Brown Sugar, Organic Macadamia Nut Oil, Organic Oatmeal, Organic Lavender Essential Oil, Organic Sweet Orange Essential Oil, Vitamin E, Rosemary Extract
We’ve quickly become huge fans of The Glamazons, a beauty and fashion blog founded by writer and former magazine editor Andrea Arterbery. Dedicated to the pursuit of all things fabulous, Andrea’s got an eye for spotting the next big thing. Which is why we thought it was especially fitting to have her share her favorite Truth Art Beauty blend!
What inspired you to start the Glamazon blog?
I started The Glamazons Blog with my good friend Jessica C. Andrews. We were both magazine editors at the time (she worked in fashion; I in beauty) and there were tons of things we wanted to write about that didn't necessarily fit into the magazine. So, we decided to start a blog all about beauty, fashion and entertainment (with our spin on it of course!) and that's how The Glamazons Blog was born!
What's your typical day like?
There's really no such thing as "typical" when it comes to my life! I work in social media by day and I freelance write/blog by night. When I'm not doing that, I'm hanging out with friends, attending events and looking for the next greatest and latest in beauty.
Who are your style icons?
I've got way too many to name, but a couple that stand out in my mind right now are: Madonna, Naomi Campbell, Diana Ross and Rihanna.
What are five items you can't live without?
My bronzer; mascara; eyelash curler; flat iron; and lip gloss.
Makeup look for spring?
I love a natural, dewy look. So, I'll rock a bit of shimmering bronzer on my cheeks to highlight, lightly line my eyes with black eyeliner and curl my lashes and put on some mascara. OH and I always have fun with lip colors once the weather warms up, so a bright pink or a pretty coral are usually my go-to shades.
Best beauty destinations in NYC?
SEPHORA (I could LIVE in there!) and I like the makeup counter at Saks. I also am a huge fan of drugstore beauty products, so I like to shop at Duane Reade and Walgreens as well.
Next vacation?
I don't really know, but hopefully it will be sometime soon!
